Christian, il maggiore, (1672-1735) aveva lavorato in gioventù come incisore con J.G. Bodenehr e con J. Sandrart.; il più giovane , Martin (1686-1756), si dedicò soprattutto all’editoria. Nella sua ricchissima produzione rilevante è la raccolta diqqueste 100 vedute di Venezia, tratte da incisioni del Carlevarijs e dal Gran Teatro pubblicato da Domenico Lovisa.
